Cotton Candy Bouquet for Easter Festivities

How to Make a Show-stopping edible Easter decoration in 3 easy steps

Do you love the sweet, fluffy taste of cotton candy? Why just eat it plain when you can turn it into a beautiful and tasty cotton candy bouquet! It make great decorations for Easter celebrations, party favors or centerpieces. You can customize them with your favorite flavors and colors. Follow these simple steps to make your own:

Step 1: Carefully cut into round shapes

First, you need to prepare the cotton candy. Most cotton candy comes in a big cylindrical shape. Using a sharp serrated knife, carefully cut the cylinder into 1 inch thick slices. Try to keep the slices intact so they hold their circular shape.

Step 2: Skewer the Slices

Next, take wooden skewers or lollipop sticks and poke them through the center of each cotton candy slice. Gently slide and position the slices until they are evenly spread out along the stick. The skewers become the “stems” that will hold your cotton candy “flowers.”

Step 3: Arrange in a Bouquet

For the bouquet holder, you can use a new cotton candy container. Carefully puncture the skewered cotton candy slices into the holder, spacing them out nicely. Now you have a full, fluffy bouquet!

Tips & Tricks

  1. Don’t make cotton candy bouquets on very humid days as the cotton candy can get sticky and melt.
  2. Use gloves to prevent any moisture melting the cotton candy. They also keep your hands free of mess!
  3.  Use mini cotton candy tubs as the standard large tubs are heavier on the skewer and hard to stabilize.
  4. Get 4 tubs minimum for a full bouquet.
  5. Choose other flavors of our mini tubs like Wild Strawberry or Blue Raspberry. You can also mix and match.
  6. Add Easter candies like Jelly Beans
  7. Add the skewer to a cocktail and let guests enjoy a colorful experience as it melts in the drink!
